I need to a copy of all email sent to an existing mailbox to another mailbox. The original owner of the mailbox cannot be aware of the forwarding. I know I can create an alias, but that would require changing the mailbox name is there another method to create a hidden forward ?

Do you mean that you need to let the user get into the mailbox, but forward everything _and_ leave a copy?  You can use an Inbound Rule for the domain, or the Copy All Mail feature--the latter is more complete.

As Sanford mentioned, you need to create Inbound Rule for domain:

T~spy@somehost.net:!COPY!spybox

if To Address Contains spy@somehost.net then copyTo(spybox);
