I just purchased WS_FTP Home and received my e-mail with the details of the purchase. It says:
=========================
You will find the license code for the product "WS_FTP Home" below. You will need the license code to finish the process and activate the product. The software publisher provides the license code and the following text which might be written in a different language.

Indeed the licese code is there in the e-mail.
I downloaded and installed the file "WS_FTP_HomeEC_Install.exe". Then I rebooted my computer, logged in, and launched WS_FTP Home expecting it to prompt me for the license code. It didn't. It just launched itself into the FTP site that I had coinfigured while using the evaluation version.
Do I really need to enter the license code or will the software run fine without it?
I have the same question. My copy of WS_FTP Home seems to work just fine, but I do not see any indication of my license in the About box or any where else in the program.
A comment from someone at Ipswitch would be great.
Thanks,Todd
I had a similar problem the purchased version did not overide the trial so I could not use it.
Ipswitch let me have a second download - but there was no warning or guidance before or after purches. I now its a low end product But more help would have avoided unecessary problems.
