Hi - I am using WS FTP LE 6.0 and trying to transfer files to a web site.  I see them, edit and save on my computer.  When I go to transfer it is just transfering empty files.  Any help is greatly appreciated!  Thanks, Sue.

Hi,

I seem to have the exact same problem. When I try to uplaod a file, it uplaods without giving me any error but the filesize is 0 kb ... here's the log messages :

LIST

150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for file list

# transferred 861 bytes in 0.203 seconds, 33.115 Kbps ( 4.139 Kbps), transfer succeeded.

Originally the file on my drive was 15 kb but it didn't uplaod completely... ending in corrupted file. I'm currently using WS FTP HOME but I encountered the same problem with Ws FTP Le. I never had such problems, and this problem poped up without any warning... I tried to uninstall and re-install ws ftp le ... but the problem persisted... Does anyone have any idea what it could be... i need to transfer files to my site!!!

Thnaks a lot!

Ezekeil,

I figured out my problem.  The space I was uploading to was over limit and they were blocking me.  Maybe that's your problem too.  I don't have too much faith in this forum, since no one replied to our problem.  Can only hope it gets better.  Sue.

Hi Sue,

I just figured out what was my problem too. On my side the problem was not concerning my server ... I still have 500 mg free... I installed a web filter program called content watch and it caused me problems with my connection in ftp mode... so i uninstalled it... not everything is fine.

Yeah me too, i don't have faith at all in this forum ... too bad.

Ezekiel
