| I upgraded to v12 from v11.5 last night/today (took 18 hours to accomplish, but that's another story), and now before the users could log in to the web client using just username/password, the login is now requiring username@domain.com/password for access. Did something change and I missed it in the release notes? Can anyone tell me if I can change it back to *just* username/password?
Thanks!!
Rick

| | What is the default host listed under system properties? This should be a domain listed in IMail. If you can provide an example of the URL user use to access webmail along with an example of the full email address that allows them to login. Example: Users go to mail.domainA.com but have to enter user@domainA.com to authenticate. Jason H. |

| Thanks for the response.
In answer to your question, the default domain is domain.com, with an alias of mail.domain.com. Up through v11.5, users have always been able to log in just using username, but v12 is requiring them to log in as username@domain.com. Needless to say, this is confusing quite a few users.
Like I said, I'm sure I'm overlooking something, but I just can't figure out what. Hopefully someone can tell me what I missed.
Rick

| | Login to the Web Administration as a system admin. Go to System and then System Settings. On that screen you should have two fields Domain Name (OHN) and Default Host. Most of the time these are the same and would be set to the primary domain of the mail server. How is this configured on you server? Please contact support tomorrow to have them review the configuration so that we can get a better understanding of your environment and the take the appropriate steps to address the problem. |

| Apparently that was it. The Default Host had the domain aliases instead of the domain. Once I fixed that and restarted, everything was fine.
Thanks!!
