Hi,

this is with IMail 11.03. V11.5 will be installed over the weekend.

Right now we are blocking some attachment types and replace the files with a blocking message. Now the powers that be like us to filter even more attachments before reaching the user. But the files should not be deleted. They should be buffered or send to a special admin who can perform additional checks if a user requests this file.

I cannot find this functionality in IMail. Is this not existing or do I just not see the wood for the trees?

Currently the only what to redirect mail that has attachments is to use a rule.

Here is a rule to look for zip files "B~name=.{1,64}\.zip:admin-attachments"

This says "If the Body contains something with 'name = to any character from 1-64 characters long.zip, redirect it to the admin account to a sub mailbox named attachments"

If you want to do more than one time in the same rule use: "B~name=.{1,64}\.zip|name=.{1,64}\.txt|name=.{1,64}\.jpg:admin-attachments"

the pipe "|" in the rule means or

Just tweak it to suit your needs.
