| Is there any way to change user passwords from the console? I enabled the web server today on my WUP server and am unable to login using the default admin/admin login. Not even the guest account works. Has this changed? Thanks. |

| | By the way, I have tried the password recovery procedure that is part of the KB to reset the admin password. This did not work. |

| If you tried following the KB article that tells you how to reset the password on the 'admin' web user via T-SQL commands, and OSQL told you "(1 row affected)" instead of spouting an error, then chances are that it is not WhatsUp... (though just to be sure, you might try re-running the commands provided in the article but this time typing in "admin" with a lowercase 'a' rather than the uppercase one that Ipswitch shows...I'm not sure if this matters, and my guess is that it doesn't). I would look at the browser you're using. Have you tried a different browser? (If you tried IE, then try Mozilla, or vice-versa.) Have you tried it on multiple different computers? Do you have cookies enabled? Did you try clearing out your cookies? Just some ideas off the top of my head... -- Nathan |
