My StarEngine.dat file hasn't updated since June 30th. Any thoughts? Has support for this service ceased?

Thanks,
Chad

Mine stopped updating in the early morning of July 3rd. (1:23 AM)

The logfiles are full of messages like these:

07:06 17:05 SMTP(0000000000000000) Premium Engine Initialized for Thread ID 0x490
07:06 17:05 SMTP(9147018d00000028) Got the Premium Interface for mail.mydomain.com
07:06 17:06 SMTP(916f01720000002c) Got the Premium Interface for mail.mydomain.com
07:06 17:06 SMTP(917501970000002e) Got the Premium Interface for mail.mydomain.com

I tried restarting the service, renaming the dat files and restarting the server.
Still no updates.

The only benefit this has had is people are reminded just how bad spam was before implementing this service.

Using Imail Server Plus 9.23

Today my symantec engine threw a fatal exception and rebooted the entire server.

Upon restarting the Symantec Scan Engine service would run both CPUs at 100% and not start up. Therefore no e-mail was flowing.

I Finally ran SysInternals ProcMon and discovered it was getting hung up trying to read the file:

C:\Program Files\Symantec\Scan Engine\Definitions\URLListLookup\cfcurllist\vendor\list

It sat in a loop trying to read this file.

I had to manually kill the process forcefully using a 3rd party tool, then replace the "list" file with one in the backup folder (thank god for that) and restart - then it rebuilt the file and went on it's way.

But, there was no other explaination, no error log, no messages... basically, another typical IPSwitch mystery process doing undocumented things...
