hi out there,
i have the following problem.

i setup an brandnew windows server 2008 (x64)
setup sql 2005 sp3
start installation of WhatsUp pre 12.4
in the setup there is following error .
first window database connection browse check the xxx (server) - default - ok
use windows authentification - ok
connect - ok
the following databases have been found von xxx
Whatsup, Netflow, NFArchive
Create Backup no (because there empty. allso tried with backup) - ok

Microsoft Windows Error

RemoteDBConfig did not work
Online Help
close programm

what could i do now ???
Remote Connection and the SQL Browser are activated.

any Idea ???

i also tried the RemoteDBConfig in the Ipswitch Directory (Standalone without Setup) same error.

WUG v12.4 does not support installation on 64-bit Windows systems. We have added the support for 64 bit Windows in the upcoming v14.

ups really,

so i am a entusiast. because i got my new vmware installation and i roled every server in 64 bit out.

i think i am a little bit confused of work the last days *smile*
