I am having a problem when an SNMP trap is logged in WUG 12.4 after the trap is activated on the server. I have an email action associated with the passive traps and every time it gets triggered, two traps are logged with the same condition and therefor two emails are sent stating the same problem. I'm monitoring Proliant HP G5 servers.

On the servers only one SNMP trap is generated that I can see in the event viewer. How come WUG is registering two?

Thanks
Mike Fernandez

Make sure that you do not have 2 of the same device with the same passive monitor, or 2 SNMP passive monitors that the traps match the conditions of on the device.
