| everything was working fine until this afternoon. I installed a windows (2k) upgrade and when the machine restarted (tried), users could no longer log in to webmail or get their mail from the pop3 server. I cannot now change user passwords or set up new users without some unknown password being chosen for them. What is up? |

| These are not passwords. When something wrong in imail start up this happend by default, looks like the wrong password. But when you fix a problem all of them seems to work fine. I don't know whats happend there but i'm sure that the problem is not in passwords.

| You have to provide much more information: mainly, what IMail userbase option you are using (IMail native, ODBC, or NT-integrated). You also must grow accustomed to looking at your _logs_ for the IMail services and posting relevant snippets. Simply supplying the end-user or admin's GUI experience isn't enough. --Sandy
