| Hi,
Anybody with the same problem ? I installed SP1 and overall the upgrade went smoothly.
But...
When you define an snmp active monitor and want to browse the mib, you get a brand new mib browser, with a redesigned interface and -at last ! the text description of mib entries.
Very nice...
Except that all the mibs I had compiled are missing !
I tried mibextra to add them again... But it didn't work at all, I mean mibextra runs but nothing is added to the mib browser.
????

| Yes, I had the same problem as well. I haven't looked too closely but I thought someone had mentioned that SP1 wouldn't require using mibextra and would auto-parse mibs but I didn't see anything in the docs that explains how that works?? |

| Randy,
Your post gave me the solution !
I looked into the \Program Files\Ipswitch... directory And found under "Data" a "Mibs" directory.
Copied my source mib files over there and here it goes ! going back to the new mib browser I get all the data once again !
Thanx. This should REALLY be documented at least in a KB article. Listen Ipswitch !!

| Yep! That did it.. the only bad thing is that it won't parse subdirectories under the Data\Mibs directory. I had everything sorted by private enterprises OIDs and now I just have to lump them all in one directory for the new SNMP browser to work. This is just as bad as Microsoft not automatically reading subdirectories for drivers with sysprep! |

| Thanks for the post Guys!!!!!!
I am still having a problem though. An idea why I might be getting this error
SNMP check (Disk Space % Free) for 192.168.X.X OID=1.3.6.1.4.1.9600.1.1.1.1.5 Instance=0 Argument= ReadCommunity=public Timeout=2 Retries=2 Comment= Failed to read SNMP value. Error=Response packet contained the error: No Such Name
I can't get this to work for the life of me. Maybe I overlooked something. |

| It seems like you are looking for diskspace using the WTCS mibs. The OID value for C drive would be: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9600.1.1.1.1.5.2.67.58. Copy this and put it into Net Tools | SNMP and test it against your target machine.
