I have determined that after converting from Access to SQL for my Workgroupshare database the notes are no longer syncing.  The notes appear to sync just fine from the machine that creates the notes (they are stored locally).  If you use another machine to sync those notes over they are coming over as one character notes.  Inspection of the WGS database shoes the note titles are being stored by nothing for the note body.  IF you sync again back to the original machine the note is wiped as well.

After some troubleshooting and looking around I called Ipswitch and eventualyl found that this is a known issue and they are workign on it but do not have an ETA at this time.

Last night I have determined that I have lost on order of about 400 notes from various users.  I am telling all of you this so you do NOT run into the same problem and you backup your local PSTs when/where you can.

Hopefully the fix comes soon - VERY soon.

I want to add that if your users only use ONE computer to access the WGS database then they will be fine since they are storing the note locally.  If they sync to mulitple machines disable syncing of notes on those other machines until the problem is fixed.

Ipswitch.  Do you have an ETA on the next release to fix some of the outstanding bugs like this one?

So one of the terachers forgot she can;t syn notes.  She gave it a go and promptly lost all 300 of them (one for each student).  I can't get them back unless I do a full restore and  overwrite everyone else's notes, calendar, contacts and so on.  So now I get to do a re-directed restore and write a query to grab just her notes.

IPSWITCH - PLEASE FIX THIS!!  You have THE FIX and are not using it.  I have spoekn to SofTalk on several occasions and the fix has been out since early '09 and you still haven't deplyed it!!  Please get your 11.1 ready and launch.  This is costing me and the compnay lots of time and $$!!!!
