| | I'm considering a move from Imail to something with Group calendaring and contacts. I'd like to hear from some of you that have been using the ICS product. Is it reliable? Does the Group calendaring and contacts work cleanly. Any comments welcomed. Thank you in advance for any responses. |

| We've been on ICS since December. No issues so far. Our users don't even know they aren't running Exchange, and the IM is excellent. The only complaint we've had is that it isn't as multi-domain friendly as IMail Server itself... actually, doesn't really support multiple domains at all on the Workgroup Share and Messaging. If you want the collaboration features for one company, it's a great product. If you're wanting to support a bunch of companies at once with those features, this probably isn't for you. Speaking with IPSwitch about this, some of the techs have hinted at the next major version supporting multiple domains, but haven't had anyone commit to that answer. The IMail Server portion of the software is excellent, as always.

| I have a question. You say that the messaging and collaberation isn't multi domain friendly. I don't care to run any of that, I would just like the extra spam features in Imail that are in Imail 8.2 and not in Imail 8.1x. If I only install Imail 8.2 during setup will that still support muti domains? I run an email server for 6 domains and would like to keep them all. Thanks Jim |
