| | Hi, I understand how to filter the syslog passive monitor so that only messages containing some keywords are sent via email. How about if I want to omit (from email alerts) syslog messages containing some key words? For example, Cisco switches would send syslog containing the keywords below, how can I filter them out? %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN %LINK-SP-3-UPDOWN Thanks, ioan |

| | Hi, Could anybody help with this matter? I've tried to filter out using Passive monitor with the expressions below and checking "Invert result" box \LINK-5-CHANGED \LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN \LINK-3-UPDOWN I was expecting to filter out any syslog message containing one of the expression above but it doesn't work. What is it necessary to get this work? Many thanks, ioan |
