| No, snmpv3 uses usernams instead of communities.
Whatsup Gold v12.3 doesn't support receiving traps with snmp v3. I fought this for a long time before support told me "we are working towards that." Just a headsup |

| Keep your eyes open... support for SNMP v3 traps is coming in the next release, which is scheduled for release in February. And use of SNMP v3 in discovery, for that matter. :)
