| | Hello! I am attempting to backup our WS_FTP 7.0 server using the wsftp_backup.bat utility. However, I was never prompted to create a user name or password for the postgreSQL database during installation which is required to take a backup. Therefore, I do not know what user name and password to use. Does anybody know what the username and password is? Thanks! |

| During the initial installation of WS_FTP Server you were prompted to create the default administrator account. Based on the username and password you entered, we created a system admin user for FTP, a local non-privileged windows account, and the PostgreSQL database user account. The windows account and PG account are the same username and password (IPS_username). If you do not have this information, I would suggest you call technical support so we can walk you through resetting the Postgres password.
