| | Hi, I'm trying to get a user's home folder to look and act as their root folder. It's a pretty basic principle but I know that previous versions have had issues doing that in the past. So now we have this "Show home folder as root" option for users. Works fine for appearances and for directory navigation, but if it's supposed to work with PUT / STOR commands, I've not been able to make it happen. When my users try to put a file to folder "\Folder1", where Folder1 is located off their home folder, the host seems to be trying to map to ITS root, not the user's. The Host is configured with: - Top Folder: C:\SomeFolder - Login Location: Home Folder - Home Folder: /AHomeFolder - Grant Full Home Folder Permissions: True Users are configured with: - Home Folder: /AHomeFolder/UserName - Lock User To Home Folder: True - Show Home Folder As Root: True In addition, the user has a sub-folder physically located at C:\SomeFolder\AHomeFolder\UserName\Folder1 When the user logs in, (s)he can issue "cd \Folder1", no problem. The user can issue "put c:\localfilename.txt Folder1\remotefilename.txt", no problem. However the user can not issue "put c:\localfilename.txt \Folder1\remotefilename.txt" I really hope this is just me doing something wrong because I've already encountered a few idiosyncrasies with this software and I'd hate to think something this basic is another one. Users should be unaware of their physical location on the server; they should be able to treat their home folder as they would any other root folder. Marc. |

| | This is happening to me as well and is a major problem since copying subfolders is such a basic command. Is there any timetable when this will be resolved and a hotfix will be available? Is there a workaround? |
