Hi,

EZA1701I >>> PORT 10,220,2,26,12,167

200 command successful

EZA1701I >>> NLST -l

425 Can't open data connection.

This client is trying to have the FTP server connect out to it for the data channel so it can get a dir listing.

Apparently the server cannot connect to the client side on the IP and port specified of 10,220,2,26,12,167.

That works out to an IP of 10.220.2.26 and a port of 3239.

Usually this stems from inbounds not allowed thru the firewall on the client side. The rare case is connections not allowed outbound thru the firewall on the server side.

I'm having the same problem I think. I can access the ftp server via my lan using an internal ip but get the 'can't open data connection' if I use the external IP or a url. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Jeff

If you can, please post the connection logs so I can see exactly what is going on during the connection.
