We have the previous to version 7 ftp server running in production where we use integrity checks all the time to verify file uploads.  I can upload smaller files all day, but when I upload the (exe of the version 7 server), checksum fails for MD5 and crc32????  I have tried several times, rebooting server and client, uploads fine without integrity checks (I uploaded and downloaded back, and ran binary comparison locally  -->  FC /B  file1 file 2).  What could be the issue here?   Vista client to windows 2003 server.  We rely on integrity checks to syncronize directories so this worries me.

Hi,

What client are you using? I tested here using WS_FTP Pro 2007.1 on Vista Ultimate to WS_FTP Server 6.1.1 and it had no problem checking an upload of a WS_FTP Server 7 installer with the transfer integrity options enabled.

I tried several other files of various sizes larger and smaller and none had issues.

Can you provide a log from the client?

Hi,

I got your log.

I see it's not just a .exe file you are sending. You have the file zipped.

What size is the source (.zip) file on your local directory?

Yes, I tried the zip after the exe.  Same issue for both.
