I am trying to utilize the SMTP monitor and each time I test the following message is displayed:

TCP/UDP check for 10.0.0.111
Timeout=5  Protocol=TCP  Port=25
Expect=^2
Send=QUIT\r
Error=An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

Any ideas what I can do to fix this problem?

Can you connect to port 25? Try and do a manual telnet and see if you get a connection. A packet trace can also be helpful in diagnosing connection problems.
