I installed the trial version of Professional 2007 and have no difficulty setting up a site profile and getting SSL access to my ftp server through the GUI interface.

When I schedule a transfer, however, even though my site file is saved with password, it fails.  Looking at the server log, the scheduled script is attempting to pass user 'anonymous' and not my actual username.

Any ideas?  What am I missing here?

I am pretty sure this is a limitation of the trial if I remember right we had this as well. Probably because the Trial only affects when the gui being opened for a check of days remaining.

It could also be the SCP File you use I had to manually specify the IP/Hostname and user information in an SCP but didn't have to in a .ctl

i don't think its the limitation and possibly the configuration.

If you're trying to automate this process, try setting the service to run as the local admin. Otherwise supplying the Site ID will output an error.
