Hi ,

The plug-ins is just an additional active monitor.

For mysql , you have to give your connection parameters :

The User login, The User Password and MySQL Server listening port. (Default is 3306)

Thats All

Could you please describe which active monitor is concerned and activate the associate debug information.

A file "monitor_name'_debug.txt will be generated in WhatsUp directory

Ok with the assistance of Jean-Philippe SENCKEISEN , I succeeded to create 2 monitor for Mysql and 1 for Oracle.

For MySQL It works with a server where the userid has rights on every mysql database on this server. On the second one, I just have rights on a database. Where can I put this instance ? (There is the possibility for orable to put an instance, not for mysql).

I would like to see more than Avaibility on the databas, how can I do it. JP Senckeisen told me for ewample on Mysql i can get many thinks (see thereafter...) But i Did'nt find where it is !! Thanx.

Aborted Clients. The number of connections that were aborted because the client died without closing the connection properly.

Aborted Connects. The number of failed attempts to connect to the MySQL server.

Bytes received (KB/s). The number of bytes received from all clients.

Bytes send (KB/s). The number of bytes sent to all clients.

Table locks waited (%). The number of times that a table lock could not be acquired immediately and a wait was needed. If this is high and you have performance problems, you should first optimize your queries, and then either split your table or tables or use replication.

Threads connected. The number of currently open connections.

Connection Time (ms). The time needed for the plugin to connect to the MySQL Server.

DataBase Size. Here you can define the different databases your server host and the associated size threshold for each of them.
