Is it possible to have a recipient download files using a single HTTP/S URL instead of logging on the the Web-addon and selecting a file for download?

Hello Marcliff,

excellent ?

"Is it possible to have a recipient download files using a single HTTP/S URL instead of logging on the the Web-addon and selecting a file for download?"

A few questions first, to better understand the use case.  Here are a few scenarios.

1) Would the recipient be a "named" account in the authentication database for WS_FTP Server and you just want to pass along the un/pw as a url parameter for convenience (though a possible security issue if they syndicate the url)?

2) Is the recipient a temporary account that you want to auto-expire?

3) Is the recipient "account sharing" - using the same actual un/pw  for the account of the sender?

bye for now,
