The Synchronisation Utility no longer works for me. It just suddenly quit working. When I click the button, nothing happens now. Similarly, if I try to add a new synchronize task, at the end of the wizard no Synchronise Utility dialog box opens.

I need this feature as it's rather important. Anyone any ideas?

Hi Jacko, it's WS FTP Pro 2007 0.0.0. - 2006.06.22 running on XP Home. I've been using it practically daily for the last year with no problems whatsoever. Then the Synchronisation Utility just stopped working. Rebooted dozens of times since the problem began. The rest of the programme seems to work fine and I can upload files the laborious way.

I've tried a reinstall over the existing install but that made no difference. I think this evening when I get home I'll uninstall the programme and reinstall it from scratch.

Thanks for the reply!

George

Curious thing just happened. I was about to uninstall WSFTP Pro and reinstall it when I noticed Open Office on my system which I'd downloaded about 2 weeks ago and have never used. So I uninstalled the whole suite as I was never going to use it anyway. And now the Synchronisation Utility is working again! Come to think about it, it was around the time I installed Open Office that the Utility quit working. Something for the techies incase it crops up again.

Oh happy days! Gotta love computers eh?
