| | Hello. I am a long-time user of Imail version 8, and I finally upgraded to the new 2006 premium. I host mail for multiple domains, and I would like to enable/disable the premium spam filter on a per-domain basis. Currently, when I choose a domain to manage, the spam filtering tab is only appearing on the 'root' or master domain. It will not appear on any other domain I create. I'm sure this is a super-easy answer, I just can't find the option! I only want to give this option to customers who are willing to pay for it... Thanks in advance, |

| | Possible option - if you have more that one IP address for this machine, you can set up one as the w/o spam filtering domain (mail.rootdomain.com - 123.123.123.10) and another as the spam filter domain (as.rootdomain.com - 123.123.123.20) in the imail administrator. Configure spam filter settings on the as.rootdomain.com. In your primary and secondary DNS set up the new as.rootdomain.com address in your main domain zone. Set the client zones with mx and mail records (and reverse) to point to the 123.123.123.20 address if they have opted for spam filtering. All of the rest would point to the regular root domain. In imail admin, create the each of the client domains as virtual. Snarf |
