I want ALL outbound email on my server to go through a remote spam filtering service at appriver.

I went to the smtp settings, Gateway Options and put a remote gateway hostname for apprivers  server. Tries before send to gateway is one,  and Send all Remote Mail through Gateway is Checked.

I saved and restarted the service.  Still not working-  mail just goes directly out without hitting the remote services servers.  

Any ideas??

Got it working.... I needed to restart the Queue Manager as well as the SMTP Service.
