Is there a way to customize the web client interface to:

1 - Add or delete functionality based on user ID - for instance - take away or mask the delete button so clients can not delete files or directories

2 - Display Company logo

3 - Display disclaimers and instuctions for clients

4 add additional pages or 'clients' - for instance have different pages on different ports for different companies

5 Add  'view file' functionality to open text files in the browser rather than having to download locally

Hello JAZULU

Good questions!   Responses below.

1 - Add or delete functionality based on user ID - for instance - take away or mask the delete button so clients can not delete files or directories  ==KG> This functionality is controlled by the System Administrator in WS_FTP Server.  Within the User and Folder permissions, you can control what file and folder permissions are allowed.  All permissions set for a user (e.g. disk quota, bandwidth limits, password rules, etc.) propagate to the web client access.

2 - Display Company logo ==KG> Yes, a GUI customization guide will be published showing how you can customize the top header and other colors in the GUI.

3 - Display disclaimers and instuctions for clients  ==KG> I believe you can include that information on the login page. What type of information would you like to include?

4 add additional pages or 'clients' - for instance have different pages on different ports for different companies ==KG> Great question.  This is not supported in this release but I've added as a feature request.

5 Add  'view file' functionality to open text files in the browser rather than having to download locally  ==KG> Another good request. I believe this depends on the browser - if you have the file type associated, the browser will ask to Open or Save locally.

hope this helps,
