Strange things happening with my new WhatsUp ver12

When I go to reports, Active monitor outage, I have about 20 devices that are showing Disk space and SQL monitors that are down. Infact, the downtime keeps increasing everytime the application refreshes. the monitoros are not down and when you go to tail of state change log, todays date is not even listed. The date shown is the 16th. I think this is a bug that needs to be fixed. I will appreciate if someone can call me back 202 375 6267.

Thanks

Can you provided more information on the following issues you reported:

1. "When I go to reports, Active monitor outage, I have about 20 devices that are showing Disk space and SQL monitors that are down. the monitoros are not down..."

***To clarify, are you saying that the "Active Monitor Outage" report is displaying active monitors as down for devices, when they are actually up? Are you using SNMP or WMI to monitor diskspace?  What type of parameters are you monitoring in your SQL server active monitor?  When at the "Active Monitor Library" window, if you test your active monitors, are they passing or failing the test?

2. "the downtime keeps increasing everytime the application refreshes."

***This is normal, if WUG sees that a device monitor is down, the downtime in the "Active Monitor Outage" report will increase while the monitor is down.

3. "when you go to tail of state change log, todays date is not even listed"

***What kind of web browser are you using?  (IE6, IE7, or FireFox)?  What Windows operating system (English or Foreign) is WUG installed on?

SV

David, does your General Error log still show any Exceptions?
