I have setup Imail Antispam features and it seems to work quite well for english based emails but it rejects far too many things for french emails...

Anybody with the same experience?

This is most likely due to the Bayesian filtering. Bayesian filtering requires that you train it for each individual user. If you are not doing so, you will likely encounter problems like this. Since the Bayesian filtering doesn't know French (unless you have trained it to), it won't be able to score the E-mail properly.

You could try whitelisting the E-mail, or using a fully featured anti-spam program with IMail.

The most dodgy False-Positive were due to Statistical filtering.

I suppose it makes sense if Ipswitch created the AntiSpam-Tables.txt file based on the emails they received.

Clearly, in their case, most french based emails were spam.

I'll try to create my own Antispam-Tables.txt based on our own emails.

I was just hoping somebody might have done this already...
