I have to setup WS_FTP Server(for the 2nd host) to use $virtual and to use an External ODBC User database.

When try to connect WS_FTP Server;

If users within my LAN they can connect to WS_FTP server,

but if user outside of my LAN  they can not connect to WS_FTP server : Get Error "530 Logon failure ,so quitting" (use the same USERNAME and PASSWORD)

Is this a user who can connect inside your LAN but is uable to connect from outside of the LAN (using the same name and password)?  What is your operating system and is there a firewall?
