We are getting an intermittent error when uploading files with the SDK version 8.0.1.  The file sizes are farily consistant with each upload (none over 10 MB) and we get this error occasonally:

I have logs from other uploads as well and they show the same thing.  They don't error out in the exact same spot but they give the same error.  Any ideas what's going on here?

Yes, I got the same error too. My solution was to ZIP the files before sending. Interestingly enough the downloading of files seems to work fine regardless of how big they are, but when uploading files the SDK errors out if they are too large or the upload takes too long.

This issue also interests me.  Is there any place where the available window size can be set?  maybe part of windows tcp/ip settings?  Is this a WS_FTP issue, or a windows environment issue?

Has anybody been able to identify the issue.

I have not been able to find an answer to resolve the issue.  It is impacting multiple ssh transfers.

Thanks,

I have the same problem.  Only work-around I have found is to use the PSFTP client.

In my case, it was on the server side (which I don't control or have access to).  here is a snippet of an email from the server owner.  They use Maverick server software.

We upgraded our Maverick SW. The upgrade brought it up to SSH2 standards.

Unfortunately, the two products (GlobalScape & WS_FTP) have a certain way of dealing with "window size" and "MTU" (maximum transmission unit) that other products and the SSH2 standard don't.

So, they implemented work-arounds to continue supporting the way these 2 products handle the "window size" & "MTU". We now support standard and non-standard SSH2 settings.
