| Just wondering if anyone is willing to share how they set up their spam filtering in their imail server. I have set it up myself and am noticing that too many valid emails are being trapped by the spam filter. I figured this would be an interesting post to see if people are interested in sharing what they found has worked and what has not. i'll be posting in the next few days the settings i have been using and what i have found. Thanks,
Jon Clifford JonnyTech Consulting |

| Hi Jon, Actually, yes, I am interested to exchange views on that. I just started to use Imail Anti Spam. So far, I have found that was getting a few false-positive on blacklist checking. In an attempt to reduce this, I have unchecked the 2 options - Perform reverse DNS lookup for connecting server - Verify HELO/EHLO Domain I hope this will fix the "problem". Cheers Eric
PS: Sanford, I had a quick look through that mail archive but I don't find it very easy to use... Yes, there are many messages but it's quite difficult to find something exactly relevant. |
