Good afternoon. I am trying to locate a copy of extractusers.exe. Our location used to use it (evidenced by the excel sheet of username, password, full name) but doesn't have a copy anymore. I attempted to use Externalizer, but after it disconnected the user database (thanks to Ipswitch for the quick find and fix) I would prefer to go back to the original. :-) Thanks in advance for the assistance.

If you can't find a copy, iPlus Info Browser will do the same thing and much more.  You can download it at:

http://www.martekware.com

Thanks,
Evans Martin

here is a command line program that will dump the usernames and passwords of all users in the registry

run it without any commands/switches to see the help.

http://www.lhforums.net/Mike/Imailpwdump.exe

it gives it to you in a nice format

what i usually do is:

Imailpwdump -d > pw-users.txt

(this causes the output to be sent to a text file instead of displayed on the screen)

Example output:

[...]more information up here (domains, etc)

 DOMAIN:  [ example.com ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
 FullName:  Adam Andrew Martin
 Email:   adam@example.com
 Username:  adam
 Password:  batman
------------------------------------------------------------------------
 FullName:  Amani Nureldeen
 Email:   amani@example.com
 Username:  amani
 Password:  suit
------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Total:  2 Accounts

next domain[...] until finished, then you get a final report:

 Total:  61 Domains, 807 Accounts
