I see another forum member had this problem and solved it by making some changes in Norton Internet Security (probably trusted sites, etc.).  I've tried the same thing with McAfee people on the chat line, and nothing works.  I've used FTP-Pro for over a year on my laptop (which was upgraded from sp1 to sp2) and never had problems.

I can't advise on the McAfee program because I don't know it or use it (don't like their server side software...[my opinion only]), but what happens when you disable McAfee and also what is your operating system?
