Dear all,

Like many I suppose, I come to the anti-spam featured as a complete beginner (OK, maybe a bit on the thick side...).

I have setup everything almost as per default and have requested the Action "Insert X-Header" and checked "Prefix Subject".

Question 1:

I had the pleasure to receive a spam in my mailbox with a "X-IMAIL-SPAM-STATISTICS: (21950096021a8059, 1.0000)" header in the message but the Subject is not changed.

Why is the subject not changed?

Question 2:

If I understand correctly, the X Headers are only useful if we use them through Inbound Rules. I am a bit nervous about deleting my customers email...

Would it be possible to inform my customer about spam without deleting the email, like modifying the Subject but through Inbound Rules.

I suppose the answer is no but I'd better ask!

Thanks

Eric Mamet

For those interested (one never knows...)

Things started to look a lot brighter once I stopped/restarted all my Imail Services

PS: I don't remember reading that I had to stop/start the services in order for the Anti-Spam to get started though...
