Years ago I used ws_ftp with no problems.  In need of software to upload files, I installed my old version and am receiving this message: rl-recv: Blocking call cancelled 

I was going to buy the new version, but now that I'm having this problem, I'm wondering if I should. 

Any help with the problem will be appreciated.  I've seen other references to the problem, but no cause or solution presented.
