I have replaced my mainboard, CPU, memory and VGA-card, so the heart of my PC is completely new. Now I had to reinstall Windows XP because the installation I had, did not accept my new configuration. Next I wanted to reinstall WS-FTP-Home. So far so good, but when I typed the activation key, the software responded that my activation key limit had been exeeded. I purchased the key one month ago (11/24/04). Do I need to buy a new key or is there a solution for my problem, actually I do not want to spill another € 38,02 for this product. The customer service of Ispwitch seems to be in a deep sleep therefor I've tried this forum.

I checked my emails and even the giant inbox.dbx file which saves all the emails automatically and there is no evidence of a confirming email, so it is no wonder I cannot find the activation code that I guess I must have used back in August when I bought WS_FTP Home.  I had a slight PC crash this AM and after doing a RESTORE, WS_FTP Home is the only thing that is not functioning.

Does IpSwitch normally send an email with the activation keys when the purchase it made?

It looks like I am going to have to contact my credit card company and let them know that I am disputing the charge from Ipswitch and their outsourced shopping cart, Element5info.com, since the product failed.  Citibank is pretty good about resolving this kind of thing.  I will get my 35 bucks back and pick up another FTP program from a competitor.
