I am having problems getting Whatup Gold v8.03 or .04 what ever the latest update is.
When i create the server and try to pull the logs it comes up blank.
Is there any tips or tricks to get this thing to pull form windows event log ?

Been a while since I used V8.x...

You need to add a Passive Monitor to the device. WU comes with 3 named 'Any' each for a different thing (Traps, Event, Syslog), so use the Any Event Log one, for basic testing. Of course you also need to be sure the Event Listener is working (sorry, do not remember the program name, but it will show in Task Manager. Try the KB for details). It could also be that WUG is running as local system admin and other user permissions are needed to get to the Event logs...
