Hi. The software is installed on Windows Server 2003 (EN) SP1, my error message is the following one, this problem appears when I launch this software with internet explorer:
"WhatsUp Gold Network Monitoring Tool encountered a problem and needed to close. Please tell Microsoft about this problem." and the associated event is the following: "Faulting application WhatsUpG.exe, version 8.2.3.1, faulting module WhatsUpG.exe, version 8.2.3.1, fault address 0x000629fa." What is the solution to avoid this error? Updated WUG v11?
Thanks a lot

When the program does not run correctly, it can mean something has been damaged. Did you try re-installing (choose Repair, if that option is given)?

Since this is an old version of WUG, I'm assuming it was working before and only recently started giving an error. In that case, I would recommend you do some disk checking, using CHKDSK /F (at cmd prompt) and restarting the computer.

Be sure you are logged into the computer as the local system administrator, at the very least (for all the above and when you test WUG).
