| I have been uploading data daily from a retail store for several months as backup. A few months ago the transfer started timing out. We're not talking about huge files here - the largest is under 40mb. I've tried everything I can think of, including reintallling software. It's weird: small little files zip right along, but anything over a meg or so will time out at 32kb or thereabout. The techs we use are baffled; all our connections, routers, etc., are fine. I'm about at my wits end. Any ideas? Thanks |

| I have had the same problems. Downloads are not a problem, but larger uploads (even 3 or 4 meg) will timeout about half of the time. I would also love some advice.
Thanks! |

| I've had the same problem with Bulletproof FTP. Their support doesn't seem to respond as I saw series of user comments about this. I was thinking of buying WSFTP; but I see it has the same problem. An from the looks of this, Ipswitch support doesn't seem to be responding. I guess I'll look elsewhere or maybe go back to command line. That's proven technology! - Thanks and good luck, Bill |

| I've had trouble uploading large files also. Recently I downloaded a free FTP utility called Classic FTP from NHC Software. WS FTP is superior in every way except for the ability to reliably upload large files (1-10 MB files), which Classic FTP does without a hitch.

| in WS FTP Home , have you experimented with the Program Options of number or retries, delay between retries and maximum concurrent transfers ... adjust these to a higer value and see what happens, if anything ....
kind regards, Paul C. Beugeling
