| We've been having some random problems with the Workgroup Share when it sync's. We are using the latest ICS 2006.1 on the server, and the outlook Client add-in is V2.1.3. The Sync progress works well as it goes through the items, but when it gets to the last item which is "Synchronize Folder Tidy deleted items folder"; outlook locks-up. CPU for outlook.exe stays between 90% to 100% and you pretty much can't do much in outlook and end up having to kill the process.
This happens randomly for different users and computers, and I haven't been able to see a pattern in the machine or user settings.
Any ideas?

| sounds like you're having the problem I describe in my post. Sounds like you have a corrupt calendar, contact list or something. The users experiencing this problem probably all have common access to the same public folder. Check and see who's having the problems and see who has access to what. Or simply goto one of their machiens and log the information. For details go to my post on this same forum.. Should be just below this one or above  It sounds exactly liike the problem we had! |

| | I found clearing out the deleted items bucket removed the lockup issue... at least until the deleted bucket starts to fill up again. I normally didn't see this problem until I got up to around 8,000+ deleted messages. |

| I turned on logging but don't see a patern. What should I look for in the log files.
Also how do you clear the deleted item budget? on the server side or the users computer?
