| I am trying to evaluate the WS Ftp Home version. by the way I have tired the same thing with the pro version and it also happens. Once the product has installed, all my shortcuts, either in the desktop, quick launch or on the start menu do not work. You click them but nothing every appears. This could be the control panel on the start menu, my documents on the start menu or my documents on the quick launch. Is there a fix for this or is this a permanent feature of the product. If so I will go looking for a different product. I really like the interface and functionality f your product so I hope this can be fixed. thanks |

| What OS are you running? You may want to try disabling Internet Explorer Browser Integration. This option is located in Program Options. After disabling, restart the computer and see if that helps. Ben |

| I am running windows XP home SP 1a. I dont know what else to tell you about it. I will try the reinstallation without browse support. The funny thing is that it happens with teh pro evaluation too!!!! I hope I can get this to work, otherwise it looks like I will be going with ftp voyager as that works. |

| I am a new user of Ipswitch home. Version 204.06.23 shown in the help-info.
I am running windows XP home SP 1a.
I had the same problems with disappearing messenger and control panel !!
When I restarted windows I got the message that "Proxy desktop" can not closed !!
When I declicked messenger and netscape and restarted windows. Now the problem is solved.
Thanks for your help here in the forum.
Also the "Proxy desktop" problem is gone!
