Our SMTP service is not starting after reboots. The windows' logs are not reporting anything. The Imail system log is reporting the following on boot up:
10:01 20:00 IMAP4 (0000012c) TCP listener started on 14310:01 20:00 POP3D (00000001) server starting on port 110 of NET.villaume.com10:01 20:00 SMTP-(0000000000000000) [Att-Blk] Attachment Blocking disabled for NET.villaume.com10:01 20:00 SMTP-(0000000000000000) [Att-Blk] Created and initialized Attachment Blocking for NET.villaume.com10:01 20:00 SMTP-(0000000000000000) Info - Queue manager started 10:01 20:00 SMTP-(0000000000000000) ok to run
After finding out the hard way that you cannot load the Imail services portion of the web admin page from the server, I restarted the service manually. Imail system logged:
10:01 20:13 SMTPD(0000000000000000) [x] official name NET.accounting1.com10:01 20:13 SMTPD(0000000000000000) Spooldir: C:\Program Files\Ipswitch\Collaboration Suite\IMail\spool10:01 20:13 SMTPD(0000000000000000) SendPgrm: C:\Program Files\Ipswitch\Collaboration Suite\IMail\SMTP32.exe10:01 20:13 SMTPD(0000000000000000) Denying mail for remote hosts10:01 20:13 SMTPD(0000000000000000) [!s!] 452 Too many recipients !s!10:01 20:13 SMTPD(0000000000000000) Denying remote mail to local lists10:01 20:13 SMTPD(0000000000000000) Denying remote view of lists
If anyone can help point me in the right direction, that would be great. I am generally already frusterated for having to reboot thanks to windows updates, that having to manually start SMTP is not fun at all.
