I am running WS_FTP server 5.02 on a Windows 2000 server. The server is also a domain controller. I have a second domain controller that is running Windows server 2003 standard. Just recently a strange problem has occurred. My users (myself included) can access their FTP home folder and can even write new files to the folder. However, they are unable to copy from the folder or open any files in the folder. I have reset Windows security and sharing permissions and even recreated the entire home folder. Any ideas on where the security issue is at?
Thanks.
I've had a similar problem before. So...by default you get C:\iftpsvc\users\homefolder
I made a new folder in C:\iftpsvcewfolder\homefolder and pointed all my users to that location.
