| | We installed ICS2006 and want to use IM. Our users can log in, but all contacts are shown as "unknown status." On the firewall 5177 is forwarded to the ICS server, and 5178 is open to all. Am I missing another port? |

| The same problem.
IM messaging server works well, the messages are logged but the users are invisible to each other.
Server side it is all ok but clients cannot see each other. No clients firewall and port 5177 e 5178 on the router are open.
What about the reason? can anyone help?

| Same thing is happening to me, did anyone ever figure this out? I did have to change everyone up to use a persistent connection and that took care of everyone showing up with a question mark, but everyone is still "offline" even though their client (and the server) shows them as online. |

| Im experiencing the same problem. need help fixing the problem .... im shown logged in on the server Iadmin, but my contacts is showing unknown status. how do I fix this problem? please help.
