| | We have a problem with transfering files from the mainframe in ascii to our server. Under the Microsoft FTP server we had no problems but with the ws_ftp server we loose data and the records are all over the place. The problem is that from the mainframe the files have "low values" in this case zeros in the bytes. When the server looks at the records on transfer I'm told that when they see a zero value that it is considered an end of record. With Microsoft version it looks like they use CRLF as the end of record. Has anyone come across this?? Does anyone have any recommendations other than change the data?? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! |
