IMHO the Newsgator product that Tony refers to is great.  I find that it's effective and fits the Outlook usage metaphor.  The way that I take in news is like drinking from a firehose, RSS and Newsgator have made it possible for me to get through as much news in a half hour as used to take 2-3 hours just browsing news sites.  I think it's worth the 29 bucks.
