I have been using WS_FTP Home and Zone Alarm Pro for a while now. Then all of a sudden about a week ago (or less) I started having trouble uploading files. If I turn off Zone Alarm, it works fine. I am not sure what changed. I re-installed WS_FTP but that did not help.

I have heard about a new Windows XP update that will cause some programs that connect to the internet to not work properly.

Has anyone else had the same problem?

If you have Windows SP2, it installed a firewall. The firewall, however, is not as good as a commercial firewall, which you have. Try turning off the Windows firewall (assuming you have SP2) and see if it works. If you have ZoneAlarm, you can leave the Windows firewall off and still be fine.
