| Following the instructions for folder permissions when installing ICS 2006 didn't seem to help me to get it running correctly. Part of the problem seemed to revolve around the fact that my Win2K server did not have an ASPNET account. Well, after much research all over the net, and trying to re-install .NET to get the account to show up, I found out a nifty piece of info on Microsoft's technet site. If you have a Windows 2000 Server running as a PDC, the ASPNET account gets created with a different name! You will have to follow IPSWITCH's instructions, but wherever they mention to give full permission to ASPNET, subsitute IWAM_computername After doing that, all seems to be running fine on my server.. no more Domain does not exist errors.. everything is functioning as it should. As a side note, IClient (Certain parts) does not function correctly in IE7 beta.. but IAdmin works fine. Hope this helps... |
