I use WS FTP Pro 8.03 in SSH mode. I've just started using it, but I still do not know how to set up a public key infrastructure with WS FTP.

it can accept keys from other servers, but how do I create a key using WS FTP and where can I import that key for authentication on another server? or is this only possible in WS FTP Pro 9?

Public Key authentication was a feature added in version 9.  Version 8.x only supports password authentication for SSH.
